Finally

I was given the letters and animals when Jeffers was about two weeks old. As most people know, there was absolutely no room in the last apartment to hang them, so I just put them away. Well, since moving, Jeffers actually has his own room. I decided to get it together. Well, after much sanding, painting, gluing, nailing, and screwing, we have a finished product (I'm only a year late). I think it looks pretty darn cute, don't you? Thanks Lisa!
Just one more picture of Jefferson in his Nasa outfit. Isn't it great?

Another Adventure!!

Last Saturday we went here with Jason's family and we had a blast. There were the cutest old retired military men volunteering and showing the kids all the cool stuff. I would suggest to anyone who made it out to Ogden to go here. For all the younger kids they had the "Ace Training School". This is Jefferson is his Nasa uniform learning how to fly an airplane. They had other uniforms too. I kinda wanted to get in one, but I'm a little too big. They also had games, flight simulators, etc. for the kids to play/learn in. Oh, to be one again. It was all very cool.
He wasn't feeling the helmet, but he sure looks cute.

They have some of the biggest planes/helicopters/jets, etc. that I have ever seen. It was awesome. What a great family trip.

Here I am in an ejection seat. I bet that sometimes Jason wishes we had one of these at home he could put me in and send me away. No such luck sweetheart. But we can always pretend.

3..2..1..Blastoff!!

Birthday Recap

Although Jefferson turned one almost a month ago, I thought I would recap for all those who could not be there.

My niece Ada informed me the morning of the party that all birthdays MUST have a pinata and it was either pirates or princess (according to Ada). So, we picked pirates and made this fabulous pinata out of construction paper and markers. Luckily my parents had some chocolate coins that I could put in it. Since Ada was the only child big enough to swing at the pinata she was happy that she got all the candy.

Here he is opening up his great presents. Thank you everyone for being so thoughtful!
The cake was the best part. He had never had chocolate or cake before and boy, did he love. It was so much fun to watch. I sure do love that little guy. In the bottom picture I was just showing him that there was more than frosting to the cake.

Happy Birthday Little Guy!!

A Great Day!

Yesterday was full of family and fun. My mom and sister and her kiddies came up to Brigham to check out our new diggs. We were able to visit and go have a fabulous lunch at this restaurant.Ada had a great time with the frisbee her kids meal was served on and Jefferson had a fun time tasting his first crayon. Fun had all around. After lunch we all went to the park and played on the play ground. I helped Ada cross the monkey bars by holding her legs and afterwards she wanted me to cross as well. I told her it hurt my fingers and I wasn't strong enough and she promptly answered that she would hold my legs. When I told her I was too heavy for her (she is only 3) she was very offended and had a good pout. When we got home we watched Kung Fu Panda and played with bubbles.

Later that night we got together with Jason's family to take some family pictures. I will post those later. Jefferson wasn't too cooperative, but hopefully we got some good ones.

All in all the day was great. Jason and I have such good families. Thanks for the great day everyone!

Out of the Stone Age

For all of you out there that have laughed and mocked, we have now entered into the high tech era and are out of the stone age. We have the internet. And, brace yourselves, a cell phone. Didn't see that one coming did you? It is nice to be able to look things up on the spur of the moment instead of having to go to the public library where the J Man won't let me do anything except check my e-mail.

We are doing really well in our new place. We actually found a park today after much walking and navigating the streets. Lets face it, there aren't that many streets here. But it was fun nonetheless and we had a good time in the sunshine. Now my sweet little boy is sleeping and I am becoming a tech savy woman.

Now for all of you who are sitting here reading this, Go outside and get some sunshine, you can't spend all your time on the internet.
