Then we went and wrote letters to Santa, which the hotel mails for us. I wrote one and so did Jessie, but I couldn't get my parents or Jason to write one. Party poopers.
Jefferson got to mail all our letters for us. I think they are going to North Pole, Arkansas.
They had a gingerbread house contest, and Christmas window display/game, teddy bear town (which Jeffers hated due to the 7 foot grizzly mascot that scared the heck out of him. He started yelling HOME, HOME, AWAY, AWAY, pretty sad) It was really fun though and a great way to start the season. We didn't take pictures with Santa because the line was too long and it's only open two hours. Plus I don't think Jefferson is ready for Santa yet. Don't want to traumatize him, although it does seem like a tradition among parents. Maybe next year.
Don't worry, I was terrified of Santa for a long time util my mom explained that the store Santas were Santa's helpers, since he was busy at the North Pole and couldn't be everywhere at once. Helped a lot, but not sure why that calmed my fears...
ReplyDeleteSounds like a fun place to go!
