Jefferson requested strawberry and blueberry pancakes for breakfast this morning so we got cooking. As Jason was mixing the ingredients Jefferson pulled his chair over to help and then turned to me and said,"Mama, I need a chef hat. Pig has a chef hat (Word World) and chicken has a chef hat (The Great Pancake Caper book)."
Well we do not have a chefs hat so Jefferson found the next best thing. His dragon hat has officially been dubbed his chef's hat.

The pancakes were good- especially with the strawberry raspberry sauce I made earlier this week. Hope the rest of today goes as happily and smoothly as this morning!!
