Poems

This morning I was reading to Jefferson out of Silverstein's
"A Light in the Attic" and I came across this poem...
Prayer of the Selfish Child
Now I lay me down to sleep,
I pray the Lord my soul to keep,
And if I die before I wake,
I pray the Lord my toys to break.
So none of the other kids can use 'em...
Amen
Made me laugh! Remind you of any of the children in your life?
Of course not!
