Our tree, number 107.
The stake also has garden plots for those who don't have yards (like us). So we purchased a huge long row for a very small fee and have been going crazy. Jason is obessesed. Absolutely. He has gone totally engineer on the sucker. Don't get me wrong, it's really fun to watch, but sometimes it's just silly. He sits up late at night programing and doing equations to find out the perfect balance of chemicals for our fertilizer, and hand fills jugs upon jugs of water to go water the plants because irrigation hasn't started yet, he tested the soil, and took pictures of the seeds, etc. He is just so lovely. It is great. I weed and plant where Jason says, but pretty much this is his baby. Jefferson just likes to throw and eat the occasional dirt clod. We have planted potatoes, peas, carrots, raddishes, onions, tons of different tomatoes, green beans, corn, watermelon, cantaloupe, honeydew, cucumbers, zucchini, straight neck squash, and peppers. I just hope we can keep it all alive. I am completely excited to be overrun with vegetables. It's going to be fabulous.
I'm so jealous! I'd love to have a peach tree for the season!!! Your flowers are beautiful. Have fun with your garden!
ReplyDeleteOh, I got behind on checking on your blog. I have been thinking about looking at it all week. Now you posted and I am behind.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, this sounds great! Mature peach trees from which you will glean luscious fruit! Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy! This is truly one of the blessings of being in Brigham City.
