Decisions, Decisions

Ever since we found out that we are having a girl I have been trying to decide which baby quilt to make her. I was never a girly girl so I tend to want to stay away from lots of pink, but who knows. I want all of your opinions. PLEASE!!

This is Jason's favorite. It's a little more modern, but a little toned down.

I love red. It's feminine, but strong. But is it too strong?

I really like these fabrics because they are more old fashioned. It reminds me of a quilt my grandma would make. Together they are more quietly feminine without being pink.

Here's the pink, but with some greens. Once again, this is more old fashioned, but has more pink to it. What do you think?

Please, please help me decide.

  1. I like the first one, especially the yellow, stripe and "pink" ones. I think the reds are a little too much, maybe if you used the small flower print with something else? And I like the pinks, especially with the bold patterns. Maybe put a couple of mini quilts together with the fat quarters and see which one you like best out of those? Good Luck!

  4. I love the first and the third- girly, but unexpected. Very cute!

  5. I also like the first, more for the brighter, varied colors that she can look at and be entertained by. The red is a good one, but maybe for when she's a few years old. I'm thinking along the lines of learning and colors, which apparently babies like.
    Hope you have fun!!

  6. 1st is modern and I like browns with the blue, pink and yellow (she may have blue eyes) maybe one too many blue swatches [replace one of the blue swatches with a solid brown or solid pink fabric]
AND I like the 4th pinks, I like the patterns & it is for your little girl. =)

  7. Love the first one! I like the reds too but they are a little too strong for a little baby girl.
