So, we're back from Texas and settled back into our routine. It was a pleasant and crazy trip. Atleast we flew this time instead of driving. MUUUUUUUCCCCCCHHHH better.
We mainly went to Texas because Jason's little sister Rosa got married. She and Jon were sealed in the San Antonio Temple and let me tell you, that temple is gorgeous. I haven't been in a lot of temples, but the ones I have been in are bigger. San Antonio is a small Temple, but I think one of the most beautiful. Some one told me that it has the most stained glass of any temple in the world. Each of the rooms just inspired awe and thought. We were so lucky to be able to attend a session the night before the sealing. The sealing itself was very nice, although very short- I'm talking 10 minutes short. The couple looked so happy and elated to be together for eternity. Sorry for the mass of pics, there are a ton more, maybe I'll post some more later.
These are the corsages the sisters (in-law) got and they were made by Rosa and her friends.
We are a happy family. I am 30 weeks pregnant in this picture and unfortunately about that many pounds heavier. This girl just doesn't want to let anything go. If you can't tell, Rosa's colors were red, white and black.

The happy couple!
Rosa's side of the family. I'm trying to hide, but Sandra doesn't provide much cover due to how tiny she is.
While other pictures were being taken the boys figured out that the wall behind the railing could be used as a slide. It provided a good half hour of entertainment.
Rosa and her siblings (minus Joe who's on his mission in Utah)
Cali the cutie as flower girl with Rosa!!
Congrats to Rosa and Jon and best wishes for all the fun, joy, adventure, etc. to come!
We Love You!
You've got some really nice pictures of a very pleasant and exciting day. Thank you for posting.
ReplyDeleteOh, yes! And thank you for all coming too! It was so nice to have our complete family (I count Elder Thomas as a missionary away as being there) at Rosa and Jon's wedding. This all truly happened as a "Tender Mercy of the Lord." We love having our family together!
